If you are looking for something truly unique and custom built for your space, you are likely considering custom fitting a gel fuel / ethanol fuel fireplace and building your own enclosure out of metal, stone or wood. Our 304 grade stainless steel bio fuel fireplace burner boxes are the easiest way to complete a custom gel fuel fireplace project, just drop it right into a pre cut space in your enclosure or countertop.
You can even use multiple burner boxes and place them side by side to get a nearly unlimited length fireplace burner. Two or three boxes is usually a popular configuration for stone or concrete countertops.
The rough in size required to fit this 1700ml burner box is 11.625" x 3.75". Your enclosure must have at least 3" of depth to allow the 2.25" high burner box to fit in with a little room on the bottom. The top plate on the burner box is 13.5"x5.5" ensuring good coverage of your rough in hole.
Each 304 Grade stainless steel burner also comes with a 12" closing device to allow you to easily close the sliding internal cover of the box and effectively put out the fire, without touching the burner unit with your hands. The average burn time for 1700ml (0.45G) of ethanol fuel is between 4 and 5 hours.
