The BLOK is a unique yet simple table top / countertop mounted ethanol burner box enclosure. The enclosure is made out of natural stone, available in either Black Granite or Beige Travertine. The small size and simple design allow it to work in nearly any décor and be just as portable as a classic candelabra. This gel fuel fireplace is just as ideal inside your home as it is on the patio for a summer barbecue.
The BLOK enclosure requires GEF_BURNER1 or a similar sized burner box. The BURNER1 unit is a removable 304 grade stainless steel burner box with integrated sliding panel that allows you to quickly put out the flame by sliding the panel forward with the included snuffing wand.
This fireplace burns a bio fuel known as denatured ethanol, which is available in liquid and gel fuel form. This clean fuel is non toxic; it doesn’t spark like wood, and it has extremely low CO2 emissions which enables the fireplace to be installed in any room over 200 sq ft without any venting, making the gel fuel fireplace completely portable and ideal for rooms where you want the beauty and warmth of fire, but no vent or electricity is available.
